Inn on the Gulf Hotel

The fried scallops were rotten and reeked of amonia. Had my partner smell and he agreed they were definitely rotten. Sent them back to the kitchen and manager said they were fine. I accidently ate one before I noticed the smell, if I get food poisoning I will know where I got it. Also the fried grouper had no flavor and the consistency of pressed dry flaky sawdust. The server was awesome.

Restaurant review only, Went there for dinner and it was disgusting, mozzarella sticks were frozen on the inside, steak not cooked to order, and loaded with fat, sides were salty as hell, rack of lamb completely raw in the middle, scallops raw in the center, baked potato cold, now they remade the mozzarella was remade and we had the waiter rehearsal the potato bit than he completely disappeared asked someone else for check and waited for someone else to check us out, and for $122 the food should've been amazing but instead it was disgusting! And so everyone knows we paid our bill and even left the tip but we will never eat there again.

I wish we could leave a better review as we had such high hopes for this place! We came here for our anniversary as a local get away to rest and recharge and we did anything but recharge or rest. When we first got to the room there was a large piece of the tiling completely missing on the floor and I almost tripped and fell when I stepped in it, as it was just inside the door. The room had a very strong smell to it, and it wasn't the good kind. It's hard to even describe. When we took a shower we noticed that the shower curtain rod was falling off of the wall. The beds are new, so they haven't been worn in yet. Not a huge issue, so we shrugged and tried to go to sleep. That's when the cars started. All night long, until 2:30 in the morning, cars trying to race eachother and out Rev the others engine, sat directly outside our room. We finally got to sleep about 3am, only to be woken up violently by either the air conditioner or a faulty fire alarm. It was such a loud grating noise, but we couldn't tell where it was coming from. Needless to say, it took quite a while for us to fall back asleep, at which point we didn't sleep soundly either because of everything else that had happened that night. The staff was great though, so I didn't want to give an awful review, just an honest one. We talked with them about these things the next morning, and they apologised and said they would block off our room and have the manager contact us. We never got a call, text, or email of any kind though, so that is why I gave a lower raining for service. The room was clean in appearance, and the sunset was nice. The beach is tiny though, so don't expect something big that you can actually sit on or hang out at when you go. Most of the water you can't even get to.

Ok guys... The pictures you see on here look good and all. But I'm here to tell you, the pictures do not do this place justice!!! This place was just a gem, recently updated rooms, super clean, with two rooms, much like a suite. A large living room with a TV and a fridge and microwave, a couch and a table and chairs. There's even a table and chairs outside of the room if you (or someone with you) smokes. Great views, right across the street from a beach park. There's an awesome restaurant on site! Great food at decent prices. A bar at the restaurant, and another bar across the street, next the beach. You could stay here for several days and never have to drive anywhere! If you are looking for a break from the normal hotels at about the same price as the big name brand spots, then this is the place for you! Parking can be a bit tricky, but the staff always finds a spot for the hotel guests. Overall, I don't have anything planned in the near future for the Tampa area, but I will definitely be back here soon!!!!

Best Oyster Rockefeller and steak in the State of Florida, everything we had was phenomenal! 12 people , 12 different items off the menu , most beautiful sunset and the atmosphere was welcoming and beautiful! We will definitely go again over and over ! The Chef we met outside and he was elated we all were boasting over his dishes. Best place in Hudson ! Recommend to anyone who loves steak , seafood , vegetarian dishes.
